Our client, a top equipment rental company in the East End, is looking for a customer-focused Counter Customer Service Representative to join their team! In this role, you'll foster strong connections with loyal clients and engage with a wide range of customers daily. Required skills and qualifications:
- Experience in a front desk or customer-facing role, ideally in equipment rentals, sales, or a construction-related field (but open to other fields with a blue-collar focus)
- Team-oriented with the ability to fit in with a construction-type environment
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting with multiple priorities
- Must be bilingual (ability to communicate in two languages is a requirement, though 100% fluency is not necessary)
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in work
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Greet and assist customers with their needs, providing excellent customer service
- Respond promptly to phone calls and emails
- Provide detailed information on equipment rentals, costs, availability, and other services
- Manage rental contracts, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
- Contact clients before and after rentals to confirm delivery and pickup arrangements
- Coordinate with the yard team to ensure seamless logistics and operations
- Create and manage customer accounts, maintaining accurate records and up-to-date information
- Other duties as assigned

Compensation and Schedule:
- Competitive hourly rate: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour, commensurate with experience
- Regular schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 5:00pm (47.5 hours per week)
- Overtime paid after 44 hours per week
