Job Full Description
We're seeking a skilled Workload Planner / Dispatcher to oversee the planning, coordination, and direction of HVAC service calls. This key role involves interacting with customers, communicating with Field Technicians and Managers, and leading a team of 30+ Technicians with support from the Service Manager.
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Prioritize and review service requests to ensure accuracy and clarity
- Assign and schedule technicians based on availability and suitability
- Update schedules as needed to ensure efficient service delivery
- Communicate service and schedule information to technicians and other service coordinators
- Monitor live boards to track service call activity and respond to changes in real-time
- Dispatch technicians through the application for late and rebooked calls to ensure timely and efficient service delivery
- Other duties as assigned
Required skills and qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in dispatch or planning, with a proven track record of success
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact politely and effectively with technicians, managers, call center staff, and customers
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
- Comfortable with being pulled in multiple directions simultaneously, with a high level of adaptability and flexibility
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, handling emergency calls and high-stress situations with professionalism and poise

Compensation and Schedule:
- Hourly rate: $25.00 per hour ($52,000 per year)
- Rotating schedule: Monday to Friday / Monday to Thursday, Saturday (Off Friday and Sunday)
- 7:30am to 4:00pm and 10:00am to 6:00pm
- Monday to Friday – 7:30am to 4:00pm during training (3-6 months)
