Our client, a leading parts distributor with over 75 years of excellence in North America, is seeking a driven and ambitious Bilingual Inside Sales Representative to join their team in the East End of Ottawa. As a key player in their sales team, you'll thrive in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and a positive attitude are essential. Note: This is a call center environment

Required Skills and qualifications:

  • Fluency in both English and French (bilingualism is a must)
  • Minimum High School diploma
  • Proven sales or customer service experience
  • Outbound call center experience (cold calls) with a track record of increasing sales and achieving quotas
  • Comfortable making cold calls to previous clients and new leads
  • Great phone etiquette and customer-oriented personality
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong listening skills with ability to bring solutions to customers
  • Ability to work independently with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Experience with CRM applications is an asset

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Building and nurturing relationships with existing customers through daily outbound calls and emails
  • Closing sales and achieving quarterly quotas
  • Collaborating with the outside sales team to share best practices and support initiatives
  • Working closely with the customer service department to ensure seamless customer experiences
  • Retaining at-risk customers by resolving issues and addressing concerns
  • Identifying and researching new business opportunities, targeting key decision-makers and driving sales growth
  • Following up on leads provided by other departments and converting them into sales
  • Tracking and logging daily sales activity to monitor progress and performance
  • Maintaining and expanding our customer database to stay up-to-date on existing customers and prospects
  • Participating in quarterly team meetings to share knowledge and insights
  • Taking on additional responsibilities as needed to support the team and drive business success

Compensation and Schedule:

  • Competitive annual salary: $55,000
  • Plus up to 30% quarterly bonus opportunity to boost your earnings
  • Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm with a flexible schedule to accommodate your needs
