Chris, a seasoned business professional, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his role as franchise owner of Express Employment Professionals in Ottawa. A graduate of Algonquin College's Business Administration Advanced Program, Chris has held various positions in the public sector, including roles with the City of Ottawa and the Federal Public Service.

Chris's entrepreneurial spirit and passion for building something of his own drove him to pursue his dream of business ownership. He has always been motivated by the desire to create a lasting impact in his local community, to experience a sense of meaning and contribution, and to feel a strong sense of accomplishment through various achievements. Moreover, he genuinely enjoys helping others and seeing them succeed, which has been a driving force behind his career choices.

In 2013, Chris and his partner Jennifer acquired the Express Employment Professionals franchise in Ottawa, marking the realization of his long-held aspiration for business ownership. Under his leadership, the franchise has experienced consistent growth and expansion.

While owning a business has presented its challenges, he can attest that the rewards far outweigh the difficulties. The journey has allowed him to develop resilience, adaptability, and a deeper understanding of what drives success. Chris's dedication and perseverance have been instrumental in navigating the complexities of entrepreneurship and achieving his goals.

Jennifer Bleau

Co-Owner & Vice-President

Jennifer's professional journey began immediately after high school, when she secured a permanent role with the Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA) within the Federal Public Service. While working full-time, she pursued further education on a part-time basis at Algonquin College.

During her tenure with CBSA, Jennifer contributed to the successful launch of the Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative in 2009. Unfortunately, her department was impacted by federal budget cuts in 2012.

Undeterred, she seized the opportunity to redefine her career path and make a meaningful impact in her community. Alongside her husband, Chris Vandenbosch, she embarked on an entrepreneurial venture, opening an Express Employment Professionals staffing franchise in Ottawa.

With a passion for helping others, Jennifer partnered with Express to bring valuable employment opportunities to the Ottawa community. Since 2013, Express Ottawa has grown steadily, driven by a commitment to become one of the National Capital Region's most trusted staffing firms, renowned for its expertise, integrity, community focus, and dedication to fair and transparent staffing practices.
