Our client, a wholesale supplier of the Automatic Door Service Industry, is looking for a Branch Manager to lead all operations at their Ajax location!

Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, interview, onboard, and train branch employees across multiple departments
  • Develop and drive sales strategies to meet branch goals and targets
  • Build rapport and maintain relationships with new and existing clients and suppliers
  • Assist in marketing strategies to boost product awareness, promotions and special offers
  • Address any client concerns with effective resolutions
  • Coach and support Customer Service/Sales department to elevate performance and enhance client satisfaction
  • Assist with conducting inventory counts to ensure accuracy and stock levels up to date
  • Supervise the Shipping and Receiving department to ensure timely and accurate order processing
  • Contribute to budget planning, focusing on cost control and profitability
  • Provide feedback to the team on their performance and lead day-to-day operations
  • Handle employee performance issues in accordance with company guidelines
  • Stay informed on industry trends and product developments in order to provide sufficient information to clients
  • Occasional travel may be required for meetings, training and visiting other branch locations
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 5 years of Operations Manager experience (Automatic and Commercial Doors)
  • High school diploma required
  • Knowledge of Automatic Doors and Commercial Hardware parts and door systems
  • Experience working with ERP systems such as Microsoft Business Central or QuickBooks
  • Proficiency in using MS Office including Excel, Power BI, and Microsoft CE CRM
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and client service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and time management
  • Clean Criminal Background Check required

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field (preferred)
  • Able to work within a team environment and independently with minimal supervision

Compensation and Hours:

  • Monday to Friday: 8:00am to 4:30pm
  • Salary: $80,000 to $100,000 per annum
