Job Full Description
We are looking for experienced Maintenance personnel for a local company, offering a full-time, long-term evaluation hire opportunity.
Qualifications:
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail
- Proven experience as a maintenance worker or in a similar role, ideally within a fabrication or industrial environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of various shop equipment and tools
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Responsibilities:
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and perform maintenance on shop machinery, including CNC machines, welders, saws, and other fabrication tools
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime
- Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Maintain the shop's infrastructure, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
- Perform general building maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry, and minor construction work
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean, organized, and free from hazards to maintain a safe working environment
Wage: $19.00 - $25.00/hour
