Job Full Description
On behalf of our client, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead global supply chain operations. In this role, you will oversee procurement, inventory, and logistics strategies to support the client’s global objectives. Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will work in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment with opportunities for growth.
This position requires a strong commitment to confidentiality, collaboration with diverse stakeholders, and the ability to uphold the client’s values in every interaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field
- SCMP designation (preferred)
- At least 5 years of experience in a supply chain leadership role
- 3+ years of experience in a global supply chain function
- Proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Suite, and SharePoint
- Strong knowledge of import/export compliance and documentation
- Previous experience with mechanical, chemical, and electronics sourcing
- Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings
- Keen attention to detail and a passion for building lasting relationships
- Experience onboarding and engaging vendors
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a global supply chain strategy aligned with the client’s growth objectives
- Cultivate and manage strategic vendor partnerships, focusing on international suppliers and contract negotiations
- Oversee international sourcing, ensuring compliance with regulations and securing optimal terms
- Manage the Purchasing team to ensure effective procurement and vendor relationships
- Lead the Inventory Management team to maintain optimal stock levels
- Optimize logistics, shipping, warehousing, and distribution processes for cost-effectiveness and compliance
- Develop short-term resource assignments and sequencing schedules
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, establishing strategic redundancy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supply chain activities with business goals
- Continuously improve supply chain processes using technology and best practices
- Track and report key supply chain metrics to senior management
- Ensure compliance with international trade, environmental, and safety regulations, including IATA and dangerous goods shipping
- Build and lead a high-performing supply chain team focused on operational excellence
Wage: $90,000 - $105,000/Year
