Job Full Description
We are currently recruiting for a full time CNC Operator to join a busy company in the Sarnia area.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role
- Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
- Familiarity with CNC machine setup, operation, and basic maintenance
- Strong attention to detail and precision in executing tasks
- Solid understanding of machining principles and processes
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately
Responsibilities:
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to understand the requirements of each project
- Set up CNC machines by loading the necessary tools and materials
- Adjust machine settings to control factors such as speed, feed, and coolant flow
- Monitor the CNC machine during operation to ensure it is producing parts within the specified tolerances
- Conduct routine checks and inspections to maintain the machine's performance and identify any issues that may arise
- Perform basic maintenance tasks on the CNC machines as needed
- Collaborate with the production team and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines
- Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area
Wage: $20.00 - $25.00/Hour
