Job Full Description
We are currently recruiting for a Shop Laborer for a preferred employer in Sarnia Lambton. The role of Shop laborer will involve dismantling and rewinding electrical components, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring equipment operates at peak performance.
Responsibilities:
- Disassemble, inspect, and clean electric motors, generators, and related components
- Diagnose faults and determine the necessary repairs for electrical systems
- Perform winding of coils, including removing old windings and installing new ones
- Test and troubleshoot electrical systems using specialized tools and equipment
- Reassemble motors and test for functionality and performance
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, and test results
- Ensure all work complies with company standards, safety protocols, and industry regulations
- MUST be physically fit and able to lift repetitively
- MUST own, or be able to purchase, steel toe boots/shoes
- MUST have reliable transportation
