Job Full Description
Our client is seeking a skilled Accounts Payable & Receivable Clerk to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for processing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and supporting various office operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounts Payable: Process and verify invoices, enter payment details, and ensure accuracy in expense allocation
- Accounts Receivable: Manage collections, ensure timely invoicing, and handle any billing discrepancies
- Perform full-cycle bookkeeping tasks, including reconciling accounts, issuing payments, and managing monthly reporting
- Oversee the inbound and outbound mail system, handling priority post, packages, and courier services
- Provide general office support by answering phones, managing schedules, and assisting with clerical duties
- Monitor and maintain office supply inventory, placing orders as necessary
- Ensure confidentiality and professionalism in all communications with team members, clients, and vendors
- Assist with banking functions, including deposits and processing payments
- Support year-end financial reconciliations and maintain accurate historical records
Qualifications:
- Experience with ADP and/or QuickBooks software
- Business Accounting degree or diploma is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality
Wage: $25.00 - $26.00+/Hour
