Job Full Description
Our client is looking for a detail-oriented Assistant Controller to support financial operations and drive accurate reporting and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee monthly financial close and prepare financial statements
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure data accuracy
- Conduct monthly forecasts and variance analysis
- Provide financial insights to internal stakeholders
- Support the annual budgeting process
- Prepare capital purchase requests with supporting documentation
- Maintain internal controls and reporting processes
- Coordinate physical inventory counts
- Train non-financial staff on accounting procedures and compliance
- Assist with special projects as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Economics
- Enrolled in or planning to pursue CPA or MBA
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical and communication skills
Wage: $80,000 -$90,000/Year
