A leading manufacturing company in Scarborough is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair machinery, equipment, and facilities. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical systems, along with strong problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.

Fabricate and modify parts using hand and power tools.

Operate and maintain manufacturing and metalworking machinery following safety protocols.

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

Work closely with engineering and production teams to optimize equipment performance.

Maintain tools, equipment, and ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications:

Experience in machinery maintenance within a manufacturing environment.

Proficiency with measurement tools (tape measure, micrometers, calipers, etc.).

Strong knowledge of equipment operation, safety, and troubleshooting.

Familiarity with materials processing, wiring, and installations.

Ability to improve and modify machinery and parts for better efficiency.
