Job Full Description

? Machine Operation:
? Operate and maintain Tajima multi-head embroidery machines, ensuring efficient and accurate production.
? Set up machines according to job specifications, including thread selection, needle changes, and frame adjustments.
? Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and productivity.

 

? Hooping and Garment Preparation:
? Expertly hoop garments and hats, ensuring proper tension and placement for accurate embroidery.
? Select appropriate backing and stabilizers for various fabric types.
? Prepare garments for embroidery, including folding, pinning, and marking.

 

? Quality Assurance:
? Perform quality checks on finished embroidered products, ensuring precision placement, color accuracy, and overall consistency.
? Identify and correct any defects or inconsistencies in embroidery.
? Adhere to company quality standards and procedures.

 

? Troubleshooting:
? Diagnose and resolve machine malfunctions and embroidery issues.
? Perform routine maintenance on machines, including cleaning and lubrication.
? Identify and report any recurring machine problems.

 

? Production Management:
? Follow production schedules and meet deadlines.
? Maintain accurate production records and logs.
? Manage inventory of threads, backing, and other supplies.

 

? Communication and Collaboration:
? Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members, both verbally and in writing.
? Provide clear and concise information regarding production status and issues.
? Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth production flow.
? Follow work orders precisely.

 

? Safety:
? Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
? Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines.

 

Qualifications:
? Minimum of 3 years of experience operating Tajima embroidery machines.
? Proven expertise in hooping garments and hats of various styles and materials.
? Strong understanding of embroidery techniques, thread types, and fabric properties.
? Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve machine and embroidery issues.
? Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
? Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
? Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
? Ability to follow detailed work orders.
? Ability to lift and move heavy objects (e.g., boxes of garments, machine parts).
? High school diploma or equivalent.

 

Preferred Qualifications:
? Formal training or certification in embroidery.
? Experience with digitizing software.
? Knowledge of other embroidery machine brands.
