DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY FOR ACCOUNTS PAYABLE COORDINATOR

 

Our client, a well-established leader in the food manufacturing industry, is looking for a full-time, permanent Accounts Payable Coordinator to join their team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for full-cycle Accounts Payable processing including coding invoices, entering and verifying invoices
  • Accurate data entry and posting of high-volume invoices (i.e PO, subcontract and non-PO)
  • Bank and credit card reconciliation
  • Issue electronic payments and cheque
  • Bi weekly cheque runs
  • Assist with month end and year end
  • Other duties assigned by supervisor.

 

Qualifications:

  • At least 2-3 years of accounts payable experience
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Work & Excel
  • Experience with Sage100 is an asset.
  • Ability to take initiative.
  • Strong attention to detail & excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational, planning and problem-solving skills
